"Have love in your hearts always as true disciples of Jesus Christ."I had my students promise that they would ask their Parents every Sunday to take them to mass so they could receive the greatest gift of God - His Body and Blood.
I told them that as we receive Christ in Holy Communion, we receive God's love from the Holy Spirit.
We talked about how they felt after receiving Holy Communion for the first time.
They said it was awesome, they felt special, they felt energized! What a great word, ENERGIZED!
Let's all become energized by receiving Holy Communion. Let's become more Christ-like by reaching out to others in Need to become true stewards of Jesus!
How are we called to Help those in need? This is something only you know. We need to reach out, pick up our cross and act. It is difficult but it is worthwhile in the end.
Remember, Jesus spent his time with the poor, the sick and sinners.
Love brings us Closer to the heart of Christ
